John Kirby has said that although the weekend attack on U.S. forces in Jordan by an Iran-sponsored group—which resulted in the deaths of three U.S. servicemen—will be responded to, the Biden administration is “not looking for a war” with the Middle Eastern nation. Mr. Kirby repeated this sentiment several times during the Monday press briefing.
