KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Former President Donald Trump has secured yet another primary election victory, defeating former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in his seventh-straight win.
At about midday on March 2, the Associated Press called the race with less than half of the vote counted. So far, President Trump has captured all of the vote in the winner-take-all caucuses.
Later in the day, at about 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. Central Standard Time, the Missouri Republican Party is expected to formally announce that the Show-Me State’s caucus-goers chose President Trump. This means the delegates chosen by the Missouri Republican Party on Saturday are pledged to support him at the state party’s congressional district conventions in April and the state GOP convention on May 4….
