Former President Donald Trump told reporters at the Manhattan courthouse after Monday’s session ended that his New York trial case “should be terminated.”
Claiming to have had a “good day” in court, the former president said his legal team asked for termination of the case, maintaining he feels there were “no crimes” committed in relation to his campaign finances.
“I should be out campaigning so we could turn the country around,” said President Trump before leaving the building.
