A CBS News poll released Wednesday shows former President Donald Trump slightly leading President Biden nationwide following the first 2024 presidential debate. The previous poll had Mr. Biden leading slightly. Now, Trump has a 3-point edge over Biden across the battleground states and a 2-point edge nationally.
