Former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign raised $130 million in August, with 98 percent of donations coming from small donors contributing under $200, the Trump–Vance campaign reported on Sept. 4.
The average donation was $56. The campaign ended August with $295 million cash on hand, “ensuring the resources needed to propel President Trump’s campaign to victory,” a campaign statement said.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign has not yet released August fundraising figures.
“With Republicans united and a growing number of Independents and disaffected Democrats crossing partisan lines, the Trump–Vance campaign has momentum for the final stretch of the race,” senior Trump campaign adviser Brian Hughes said in the fundraising announcement. “These fundraising numbers from August are a reflection of that movement.”…
