The 2024 primary season will kickoff in mid-January and run until June. Candidates must win or do well in each state’s primary or caucus to gain party delegates and the nomination. Any candidate with a majority of delegates will be the presumptive nominee at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee scheduled for July 15-18.
Primary elections will take place over the course of six months, however more than seventy percent of delegates will be awarded by the end of the month of March. The election dates and rules are still subject to change by the states.
