Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of the first world leaders to congratulate Trump, posted on social media, “Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America . . . This is a huge victory!”
Benny Gantz, an opposition leader who shared the prime minister position with Netanyahu from 2020 to 2021, also congratulated Trump. On social media, Gantz hailed Trump as “a true friend of Israel who has already proven this in his actions.”…
