Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas introduced a new plan on critical infrastructure security and resilience on June 20, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted in a press release.
According to a memo from Mr. Mayorkas, the Strategic Guidance and National Priorities for U.S. Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience will serve as a roadmap for Homeland Security as it seeks to protect the United States’ infrastructure from factors such as “potentially disruptive cyberattacks, physical sabotage, climate change, and geopolitical tensions.”
Mr. Mayorkas wrote that a new National Infrastructure Risk Management Plan will supersede the National Infrastructure Protection Plan introduced in 2013….
