The Subcommittee on Oversight, under the GOP-controlled Committee on House Administration, has recently launched a Rumble channel and shared the second set of security videos from the events of January 6 at the U.S. Capitol. Initially, a few videos were uploaded to the Rumble channel on December 5. Within a day, the collection expanded to include 135 clips, each lasting approximately 10 minutes. By December 7, the channel had garnered nearly 700 followers.
Earlier, on November 17, the committee had released the first batch of 90 CCTV clips on its official House of Representatives website. Combined, both websites now offer close to 40 hours of video footage from January 6, out of the over 40,000 hours of footage held by the Capitol Police.
Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), stated, “As promised, we are continuing to release additional U.S. Capitol Police CCTV video footage from January 6th to ensure complete transparency and accountability. Every American can access this and future footage on our new Rumble video page.”
