Three Republican attorneys general urged Congress to hold Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas accountable for the crisis at the U.S.–Mexico border—including impeachment.
“The American people are watching. They know that our border was secure just a few years ago.
“They see the devastation metastasizing in on our communities from drugs and human trafficking,” Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen said in his written testimony for the House Homeland Security Committee’s first impeachment hearing against Mr. Mayorkas on Jan. 10.
“The conclusion is clear: Secretary Mayorkas has violated his oath of office and the consequences have been dire. I urge this body to impeach.”…
