After initially saying she would not run for re-election to the House, Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) on Feb. 5 announced she had changed her mind.
“Deciding where your duty lies—family, work, or country, is never an easy task. Earlier last year, I decided to take some time off from running for public office to recharge and spend more time in Indiana with my family,” she said in a statement.
Ms. Spartz cited that America is in dire times and it requires her to be in office. She also blasted the leadership in Congress.
She said that she would not be able to get results if she were to retire given the dysfunction in the current Congress….
