Fast-spreading wildfire forces evacuations near Los Angeles as severe heat hits East Coast

Only 2% of a fast-spreading wildfire near Los Angeles is contained Monday morning. The Post Fire, which is the second fire in California this year to exceed 14,000 acres, has already forced at least 1,200 people to evacuate.
