Former President Donald Trump has never been convicted of leading an insurrection.
His crime may be leading President Joe Biden in the polls for the 2024 election.
Using insurrection as a legal tool, a Democrat-led movement across the United States is trying to remove President Trump from primary ballots, and this week that movement picked up steam.
The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday removed President Trump from the state’s primary ballot, saying he “engaged” in an “insurrection” and was not eligible to be on the ballot. The decision is expected to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Similar lawsuits have been tried in Arizona, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Michigan, but each case ended with President Trump still on the ballot. The Michigan case is being appealed to continue the effort to remove him….
