California’s Secretary of State has kept former President Donald Trump on the ballot in the 2024 presidential primary despite multiple states opting to remove his candidacy.
Secretary of State Shirley Weber, a Democrat, certified the list of candidates on Dec. 28.
The Presidential Primary Election ballot is scheduled to take place on March 5, 2024.
Ms. Weber’s decision comes despite calls from the state’s lieutenant governor, Eleni Kounalakis, to remove President Trump from the ballot.
